Qur’an Translations:

The Qur’an was revealed in the Arabic language. Although the Qur’an contains oceans and oceans of meaning, it hasn’t always been accessible to non-Arabic speakers until about a hundred years ago. However, today there are several good translations of the meanings of the Qur’an. Below are three translations that will definitely assist both the Muslim and non-Muslim to understand the Qur’an better.

The Qur’an: A New Translation. By Dr: Thomas Cleary.

The Qur’an: English Translation and Parallel Arabic Text. By: M.A.S. Abdul Haleem.

The Qur’an with Annotated Interpretation in Modern English. By: Ali Unal.

This translation is very useful for those who would like to have more commentary of the Verses and historical context of what is being read.

 

Biography:

There are many books written in English about the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him). Amongst them there are only a handful that are not only easy to read but also contain accurate historical research based on authentic sources.

Belief

Aqeedah is the arabic term for Islamic Theology or Islamic Belief. Here you can find two important and famous works that straightforwardly discuss what is obligatory for a Muslim to believe.
